We are based in Johnsonville and work across greater Wellington: the northern suburbs, Wellington city, Porirua, and out through Lower Hutt and Upper Hutt. Being local matters more than it sounds. Wellington weather sets the programme for exterior work, and a team that knows the difference between an exposed south-facing weatherboard and a sheltered Hutt Valley plaster wall will specify a different system for each.

What local knowledge changes

Salt-laden wind, driving rain and steep sites all shorten the life of a coating that was not prepared for them. On exposed exteriors we allow for washing, sound repairs and the right primer before a topcoat goes near the surface. On monolithic and plaster homes we check for moisture and cracking first, because painting over a defect only hides it until the next southerly. Older weatherboard villas and bungalows need different preparation again.
